Fanworkrecs is all-inclusive, meaning there is both het and yaoi content, although yaoi outweighs het. I have not separated these stories, however, as it is my hope that people will base their selection on the story summary and not on who's boffing whom in the fic or art.

The site is quite large, so it should keep you occupied for a while. Thanks for visiting, and I hope you find something you like. ^_^

NOTICE! At some point, I will probably be switching fanworkrecs over to a WordPress-run site. When this happens, it will likely mess up old links quite badly. I will try to redirect, but as I'm new to WordPress, it's possible I'll miss some. Switching to WordPress will allow me to cateogorize things much more precisely, as well as allow me to have one site for multiple fandoms - no more subdomains like gundamwing.fanworkrecs.com. It's going to be a lot of work, and take a lot of time transfering everything over, but in the end it will make it a thousand times easier for me to update - and I'd like to get back to doing that, as well as expand the site to include reviews for non-fandom things. So.. please have patience as I go through this process; hopefully it'll be the last major change the site will undergo!

2005 is a year of changes for me: a new home, new career and new interests. My time spent in fandom of any sort is pretty minimal now, and it's not going to get better; my new job is going to take up a significant portion of my time. With that in mind, and after a great deal of thought, I've decided to no longer update the site with new recs. I will continue to update any work-in-progress fics I've already rec'd, as well as update the art sites I host. Future con photos will also be added, as I've no plan to stop going to cons. I need some kind of social life!

I will NOT take down the site. It has plenty of content that will stay relevant, and people are always looking for good stories to read and pictures to look at. I also have no plans to stop hosting the sites currently using the fanworkrecs.com domain.

That said, I am removing the Fullmetal Alchemist site. It hasn't been up long enough to gather a following, and there's no sense in leaving it up with almost no recs.

When I made the decision to look into the Gundam Wing fandom, I had no idea the changes it would make in my life. Five + years later and I've made more friends than I thought possible, I've traveled outside the country to visit some of them, and I've become exposed to many new things I'd have never experienced had I not taken this trip. It was - for the most part - a wonderful ride, but it's time to move on.

I am not abandoning my online habits or my friends, my contact info here still works, and I also have my livejournal, so if anyone needs to contact me, those are your options.
