"Still Crazy" - added 20-june-2002

Nearly 15 years after the Eve wars, Wufei runs into an old flame.  This is a great Wufei POV where he delves into his past, his feelings for Sally, the mistakes he's made, and the promise the future might bring.

In truth, I had a damn hard time choosing which fic of hers to put here - her 3x4 "Angels" arc is amazing. I decided to go with this story, however, because there just aren't enough really good 5xS out there and I wanted to highlight one of those good ones. So when you're finished with "..Crazy", go read "Angels".

"Stumbling On" - added 25-may-2003

This is actually part of an arc, but each section can stand alone. Why am I rec'ing this one? Because I read it first. *grin* Also because it has some very nice - if very angsty - 3x2 action, which is one of my guilty pleasures.

This fic assumes that Quatre did not survive Dorothy's attack at the end of the war. Trowa, who had loved him desperately, separates from the others and heads into seclusion. Shortly after, Duo realizes that Trowa has gone, and sets off to track him down.

Initially, Duo stays with Trowa in order to learn more about him and draw him out of the shell Quatre's death has caused - or so he thinks. As time passes, however, he comes to see that there's more to Trowa than just the fact that he was Quatre's lover, and that Trowa wasn't the only person badly damaged by Quatre's death.

While at first glance a fic like this containing lemon might seem gratuitous, this particular one is not. The relationship between Trowa and Duo is sweet and melancholy, their conversations intelligent and deep. They do not become a couple, really, but they do start to heal, leaning on each other for friendship and support.

"Lorelei" - added 03-june-2002

A rather dark and melancholy look at a relationship between Dorothy and Relena, from Relena's point of view. There is a lot of...well, it's discussion of death, but not an outright discussion. It's really couched in rather poetic musings about the ocean from Dorothy, twisted into riddles at times, as she tries to get a response from Relena. Very hard to explain, but very well done. There is death, and suicide, however it's not the bloody, unrequited love type. I couldn't help but feel a little bit of heartache for Relena in here, and can understand why she chose what she did.
