Musings: Duo" -

Duo relaxes on a Sweeper's ship and lets his imagination
roam.
I think a lot of people would at first glance place this
in a PWP category, but I don't think it's quite pwp material.
Duo has a bit of a revelation in it that gives it just enough
plot for me to place it here in the regular section.
There's something of a gendertwist mindfuck that I really
liked about the fic, and that's what has stopped me from
putting the pairings in the warning section.

After numerous flings, Duo's come to the
conclusion that quickies and one night stands are not what
he truly wants. A comment jokingly made by Heero,
with whom Duo shares an apartment, suddenly makes Duo wonder
if he's looking for a relationship with the wrong type
of person.
This is a well-done fic with both Heero
and Duo re-evaluating their lives and sexual preferences. While
there is angst, it is in keeping with the storyline and
does not get out of hand.
