"The World is so Beautiful Tonight" - added 17-Dec-2002

This is a beautifully written PWP. It's not overly graphic, but there's so much feeling and emotion infused into the writing that it doesn't need to be graphic. The description of Heero's emotions are very well done, as is the depiction of first time sex - much more realistic than the "nothing but mind-blowing pleasure" that's so prevalent in fics.

Get out the fans and cool drinks now - you're going to need them. In this AU, Duo is trolling the bar scene when he spots a dark, sensual man checking him out from across the room. The following confrontation leads him into a sexual mindgame that left me making damn sure no one was reading this over my shoulder at work.

Like foreplay? You're really going to like this. Blue is a Master of erotic sex play. All kinds of teasing goes on before the final act. Her descriptions are detailed and hot without being tasteless and really add depth to the story.

Heero discusses his fascination with Duo, as well as the solo actions he takes to relieve himself when his thoughts get too...involved. And then he gets a surprise...

I really enjoy fics that have Heero showing a sense of humor as well as a little emotion. Add in a sneaky, sympathetic Relena and some seriously hot action, and I'm so there.

Ok, really, this is pure sex from the get-go. But you know what really grabbed me? The part at the end where Heero puts his hand on Duo's hip and helps him. That's just...sweet. Ok, I'm a sap today...I liked it!

"Giving Gifts" - added 05-oct-2003

I have to admit that when this first appeared on the lists, I passed it by because 1 - it was a threesome, and generally I don't care for them as they tend to be poorly written, and 2 - the note about a clueless and selfish Quatre put me off a bit. However, when I saw some of the responses to the fic, I searched it out, and I'm glad I did.

This is a brief exploration into kinks, and into Trowa's and Duo's enjoyment of BDSM. Now, I'm not really into that sort of thing, but this was well done - wonderfully descriptive, very hot, but still with a lot of tenderness to it. There was never any doubt that the three involved cared deeply for each other, and that's important to my enjoyment of this kind of fic. The BDSM wasn't overly done, either, and that's a big plus in my book.

Note: As I said above, there is what many may call bastardization of Quatre, and also mention of Stalker!Relena (though mention of both is brief) in here. I'm putting this warning in for those who'd prefer to know. Try and overlook it, if you can, the fic really is good.

You like it rough? This fic's for you. In the middle of a dangerous mission, Duo asks Heero to show him his gun and one thing leads to another. Can you say, "innuendo" folks?

"Laughter and Midnight Smiles" and its sequel, "All is Right in the World"- added 08-march-2002

PWP's that still have some substance and feeling behind them are wonderful things. These two fics contain both, as well as the hot sex that is the prerequisite for a PWP. Basically a get-together fic, the overall tone is more mature (as far as Duo's "voice" goes) than a lot of the same type of story, which I really like.

This is a set of 4 stories, for the most part PWP (although the last does have something of a plot - and a good one, too) that are divided by the characters involved. They are pretty much stand alone stories, however, I suggest you read the first Heero and Relena one before the Zechs and Noin one - it makes it funnier and more enjoyable. note: the author is out of the fandom and does NOT want feedback for these fics.

Treize & Une
Treize in his bath, debating how to make Une blush..

Ok, I admit to not usually reading this pairing, but the fic is well written, funny in spots and the lemon is hot. I was a bit creeped out by Une's...instant acceptance of the situation, but that is part of her character. Anything for Mister Treize. She does loosen up eventually, and it's nice to see Une feeling uncertain. And who knew Une snores...?

Duo & Hilde
Duo and Hilde have tried to have a physical relationship before, but after a disastrous attempt, they give it up. After Hilde's successful escape from Libra, Duo's sitting watch by Hilde's hospital bed, one thing leads to another, and they try again. Sweet, sappy, hot.

Heero & Relena
On the eve of Relena's 18th birthday, Heero pays her a midnight visit. Besides being hot, this is really quite funny. Methodical, anal Heero has planned out this night as if it were a mission, having done research and all, but Relena's amusement was not something he planned for. (read this before Zechs & Noin)

Zechs & Noin
Noin needs to distract Zechs, who has spotted Heero sneaking onto the grounds and is revving up into "Big Brother" mode, ready to rip Heero to pieces. Funny, hot, and very in character.

Heero & Relena 2
This actually has some plot to it, but there's a lot of hot sex as well. Basically, the two are involved in a conference between two former countries that are disputing a port. In order to discover which country Relena favors, the opposing countries hire someone to bug various parts of the building, one of which is the bedroom. I really like Heero in this--he's damn sexy, and comes off as so dangerous. Relena's quite the riot, too, she knows just how to handle him. This one is a bit longer than the other stories. Duo makes a brief appearance at the end as well, and he's sexy as hell in "Shinigami" mode...

Humor, voyeurism in the last fic, pairings depend on the story

"Cosmo" - added 10-july-2004

In this fandom, there seems to be a preponderance of either/or fics when it comes to Heero as bottom in a sex scene; either he's a raging pile of testosterone fighting tooth and nail to remove himself from the position, or he's an overly-innocent child that doesn't know the first thing about intercourse. Now obviously, not all fics are like this, and not all are this extreme, but sadly enough many are.

It's so refreshing to read a story that doesn't cater to these stereotypes. Thanks to Saro's wonderful descriptiveness, you know that both Heero and Duo are very male, yet neither of them are overbearing brutes. They're simply two men who care about each other and are about to have sex.

Heero's a bit dazed, but it is his first time, so that's to be expected. This isn't a perfect lemon, either - teeth clash, noses bump - it's real sex. Because come on - we all know that's the way it really works. There's also touches of humour throughout that I enjoy, I'm a sucker for a lemon with humour.

Sparcck

"Predatory Behavior" - added 22-may-2002

*cough* - is this a kink? Trowa's been gone for a week, and Quatre finds himself getting wound up watching nature shows. When Trowa comes home to find him watching the show (again!), he get a bit of a treat in the form of some rough sex play.

I've been waiting for forever for Sparcck to get this up on her homepage so I could rec it, but it doesn't look like it's going to happen any time soon. So the title link will take you to GWA, where she is also archived, and where the fic can be found.

"Talk Nerdy to Me" - added 11-jan-2004

Heero's studying for a college Chemistry final when Duo approaches him and makes a crack about perversion and nerdy dirty talk. What ensues is proof that, yes, Chemistry can be perverted, and talking nerdy can most definitely be hot.

This is cute, funny, and as I said above, hot. The geekiness is not overdone, the boys are mature and adult, and what's nice is that Heero and Duo actually seem to know what they're talking about, which gives the fic more realism. Stacy's a scientist by day, so I'm assuming what Heero and Duo are talking about is correct, but even if it isn't, she certainly makes it sound like it is.
